I am in love with this mascara. No, really. I’ve been using it for about three years consistently now and have yet to look back. Already a huge fan of the mascara, I was extremely excited when I saw Too Faced Cosmetics gave its famous Better Than Sex mascara a mini makeover.
The Packaging
Packaged in its iconic frost pink tube, glamed up with rhinestones, this limited edition mascara truly exemplifies the nature of Too Faced Cosmetics and I would not be upset if Too Faced decided to give their entire line a diamond-studded makeover. The tube is a bit heavy, but not to the point where there’s a noticeable difference in my makeup bag.
The Formula
The brush on this mascara is nice and fluffy, allowing you to grab every single lash with one stroke. It even gives your lash a beautiful, natural looking curve – a great option if you don’t want to (or like to) use falsies.
The formula is extremely black and quite thick. The mascara appears to be semi-wet, but not in a goopy “this is going to get all over my face” sort of way. Application is easy and once it dries, it feels lightweight and dries to a matte black color. It’s also safe to say that a lot of this product goes a long way. The Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is a staple in my makeup bag.
This beautified mascara dropped with the rest of the ‘Feel Pretty Rich’ collection late November. The mascara retails for $24 and can be found in participating Sephora and Ulta Beauty stores.
