Traveling is great but sometimes can be expensive. It’s no secret that I want to travel and really explore the world. These past couple of weeks I’ve been looking into different travel destinations I’d like to see once I graduate from college, and I figured I’d share a list of some of the cheapest places I’ve found that may be good places to travel this 2017 year!
This is somewhere I’ve always wanted to travel to. Costa Rica is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet which makes for some cool scenery. There are a ton of national parks to explore that cost no more than a few dollars to enter. Public transport is relatively cheap, so traveling within Costa Rica is feasible and you can see a lot in a small amount of time.
Oh man, what I’d do to get the chance to spend some time in Spain. Barcelona is one of the most popular European cities, right up there with places such as London and Paris, but way more affordable! Between the beautiful beaches, the yummy food, and the amazing history, Barcelona is definitely a great place to look into traveling.
I know, I know, this one is a little bit out there. But if you’re looking for an exotic long-haul trip, Bali might be the place to go. In Bali, you could say in a private villa overlooking rice paddies with a private pool for $50 a night. Yup, that’s it. I’ve paid more traveling to New York, or Los Angeles. Spa and transportation costs are quite low, the food seems to be amazing, and Bali just seems like a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip for me. Like Greece, remember to look into flights early, as this will probably be the most expensive part of the trip.
What do you think? Would you travel to any of these places? Or have you traveled there before? I want to hear about your experiences!
